We have begun the process for our 2021 capital campaign for the Innovative Learning Center, which will allow us to serve our students through 9th grade. This is the culmination of a long-time vision to serve our students through a critical point in their lives. If we can transition our students seamlessly from primary into middle school, our students’ are more likely to stay engaged, complete 9th grade and go on to find work outside the dump community, enter secondary school or university, or intern at an organization and truly break the cycle of poverty. To get an idea of how important this new location will be for our students, check our our self-guided virtual tour above or check out our case statement below.
You can help continue our mission and turn hope into opportunity by making a pledge now to support this project. Details can be found in the case statement above. You can also be a part of the Safe Passage story for years to come through our naming opportunities on the building itself. After downloading and completing your form, or for more information, send us a message to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Safe Passage started with one woman’s humble vision to touch the lives of the poorest, most at-risk children in Guatemala City and has grown significantly since our early days in 1999
