Safe Passage is partnering up with a group of nonprofits, collectively called REDES, as well as the local municipality to provide clean water to folks in the community.

So far, 24 water trucks (each carrying enough water to support 50 families for three days) have delivered water to eight neighborhoods throughout Zone 3 that were most in need.

The plan is to continue supporting these neighborhoods with water deliveries over the course of the next two months, in the hopes that access to running water improves during that time.

We are so grateful to all the other NGO’s that make up REDES and our friends at Fresh Leaf Charitable Foundation for helping to make this initiative possible.
