Safe Passage Planned Giving

Safe Passage Visionaries: For today, tomorrow, and the road ahead.

Members of the Safe Passage Visionaries have ensured the longevity of their support by including Safe Passage in their estate plans. Estate planning has many benefits to both the donor and recipient. It can save money on taxes, while making a real impact in the lives of those you leave behind. Your estate planning helps you make more impactful charitable gifts which you might not be able to consider during your lifetime.

Please consider including Safe Passage in your will or estate plan to ensure that we can carry on our mission for years to come. Your thoughtful planning will help us to continue transforming lives by providing our students with an excellent education, a higher quality of life, and pathways to a job with dignity, so they can achieve a better future for themselves and their families.

Types of Planned Gifts

The most common and easiest way you can make a planned gift to Safe Passage is simply making a bequest by including language in your will or living trust that leaves a portion of your estate to the organization.

You can designate Safe Passage as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or retirement account.

You can make a deferred gift in the form of charitable gift annuities and trusts or make a donation of assets. These types of gifts will be accepted in accordance with our gift acceptance policy. Contact us at info@safepassage.org with the subject line “planned giving” for more information.

If you have any questions about planned giving or are ready to sign up, please email us at info@safepassage.org and put “planned giving” in the subject line.

Safe Passage Visionary:
Carol Montgomery

Carol committed much of her free time to volunteering and helping out her community whenever she could. She was especially impressed with Safe Passage and the work that we do and in her will she left money to over 36 beneficiaries and 5 non-profits including Safe Passage.

Like Hanley’s own legacy, Carol’s incredible bequest to Safe Passage will continue to impact so many lives in our community and her gift will live on, long after her.
