2016 Giving Tuesday: Feeding Families in Need

2016 Safe Passage Giving Tuesday

What is Giving Tuesday?
We all know about Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but many have not heard of Giving Tuesday! Giving Tuesday is a global day for giving back to nonprofits and celebrating donors across the world. We’re so grateful to have the opportunity to celebrate you all year long, and especially on Giving Tuesday!

This year Giving Tuesday is on November 29, 2016. Safe Passage is participating with a special campaign to raise enough funds to feed 100 families for 1 year, and to impact the lives of our more than 550 students. Make a donation today!

Why feed families?
Hunger is one of the world’s major problems, and many in our community suffer from malnourishment. At Safe Passage we strive to meet the needs of the whole child: physically, emotionally, and socially. We aim to help treat—and prevent—cases of malnourishment by providing meals for our students, and food bags for our community families.

We know we can count on you to help us make the biggest impact possible.

1. Donate
Generous contributions received from generous donors like you will make our Giving Tuesday goal a reality. Every gift matters and will be used where it is most needed in our program. Make a donation today!

2. Share our Story
We will be updating our community and sharing progress on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram on November 29, Giving Tuesday. Share our story with your friends and family and increase our ability to reach our goal.
