Collecting Goods

We at Safe Passage appreciate people’s interest in donating goods, however we prefer to receive monetary donations in order for us to buy what we need in Guatemala, as this also supports the local Guatemalan economy.

Furthermore, Safe Passage does not have a cost efficient means of shipping donations from the United States. We rely solely on volunteers willing to carry donations to Guatemala.

If collecting goods is the only way you prefer to donate, it is very important that you contact our US headquarters before you start, so that we can give you a list of our most current needs.
