Escuelita Teacher’s Assistant– Assist our classroom teachers with our little learners in hygiene (brushing teeth, washing hands, etc.), recreation, developing creative activities, cleaning, serving meals, and supervision within the classroom and on the playground.

Volunteer Profile: Basic to Intermediate Spanish, patience, creativity, strong interpersonal skills. No teaching experience required. Experience in Early Childhood Education preferred.

            Minimum Time Commitment: 5 weeks

Escuelita Math and Reading Skills Tutor– Work one-on-one with students to develop their basic math and reading skills and inspiring confidence in each student through positive encouragement.

Volunteer Profile: Advanced Intermediate or Advanced Spanish, patience, dedication, creativity. Ability to explain concepts in a variety of ways. Teaching experience preferred. Strong work ethic and self-motivation required.

            Minimum Time Commitment: 3 months
