Safe Passage | Camino Seguro

English Teacher – Responsible for leading five to six 30-minute English classes each day and support the Adult Literacy program with weekly English classes. Support students with English homework help. Collaborate with other English Teachers to develop creative, culturally sensitive and relevant lessons that follow and improve on the dynamic and evolving English Program curriculum.

            Volunteer Profile: Motivated and dedicated to developing and teaching creative and relevant English classes and working with at-risk youth. Committed to working as part of a team and assisting in program development. Intermediate to advanced Spanish with teaching experience or experience working in a developing country preferred.

                Minimum Time Commitment: 6 months (with housing allowance offered)
