May 19, 2008 - Please Come Help Us Welcome Fredy to Maine!
Fredy Maldonado, who many of us remember fondly from our time volunteering in Guatemala, is in Maine to help represent Safe Passage at several Rotary Club presentations and events. On Monday, May 19th at 7:00 pm, the First Universalist Church in Yarmouth will host a gathering and discussion with Fredy. Fredy worked closely with Hanley Denning for many years and has been involved with Safe Passage since the very beginning. Fredy will share stories about his experiences living in Guatemala during the civil war and his thoughts about hope for the future of his country. Come hear his compelling story and help us welcome Fredy to Maine.
