New Support Team Program for Groups
The children at Safe Passage and
the program itself have been greatly advantaged over the years by the hundreds
of supporters who have visited the site in Guatemala.
Over the past several months, many people at Safe Passage both in Guatemala and the US have assessed our program for groups visiting the project at the dump. They mined years of service team feedback and got input from teachers, long term volunteers and staff on what worked really well and what could be improved both for the children and for visiting supporters.
The result is a new program that combines service and learning in a way that assures great value for the children and a deeply enriching experience for the team members.
