Casco Bay Friends

About Us

Welcome to the Casco Bay Friends of Safe Passage page.  We began in 2003 as a small Advisory Council to Hanley Denning and over the years have become a group of dedicated supporters from the greater Portland area.  Our goal is to make lasting connections with local Safe Passage supporters and to build a robust and energetic community of support for Safe Passage here in Maine.  Members include volunteers who have led many Support Team trips to Safe Passage, local child sponsors, and supporters who would like to learn more about Safe Passage as they volunteer their time.  We often are joined by committed middle and high school students.  Our activities include coordinating the annual Safe Passage photo contest and creating the annual Safe Passage calendar, hosting an annual 5K in Cumberland and an annual Open House at the Safe Passage office in Yarmouth, participating in numerous other awareness-building and fundraising activities throughout the year, and having FUN!!  Please join us for one of our upcoming meetings or events to learn more!

Upcoming Events

The Safe Passage Open House will be Friday, December 9th.

The Catie Curtis Safe Passage benefit concert in February.
