Celebrating Hanley's Life

This is an emotional week at the project. As we pause to reflect on the anniversary of our founder Hanley Denning's tragic death, we are also commemorating another important event for Safe Passage: the opening of the Early Childhood Education Center. This program, once called the guardería (or "daycare"), is now a registered school in Guatemala that we're affectionately calling the escuelita.
